USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) field office in Charlotte reopened June 4, 2020 after an eleven-week closure due to the Coronavirus. With new safety operations and procedures in place, the office began prioritizing Naturalization applicants who had interview dates and Naturalization ceremonies postponed during the closure. Three GLC students were affected by the closure. However, we are extremely pleased to report that all three students had their naturalization interviews rescheduled since the reopening and all successfully attained U.S. Citizenship. Congratulations to our new citizens! We are so proud of you!
